Welcome to the Penticton Branch 40 Legion website.  Please use the links along the top or left side of the page to find any information you are looking for regarding the Penticton branch.

Did you know that the Penticton Branch 40 Legion was chartered in 1927?  And our Ladies Auxiliary was founded in 1928 and we are still going strong!

The Royal Canadian Legion is Canada's largest Veterans support organization with over 300,000 members.  We are non-profit, dues supported and we accept no financial assistance from outside agencies.  Since 1926, the Legion has strived to secure adequate pensions and benefits for veterans and their dependents.  It is the Legion's major responsibility for the perpetuation of "REMEMBRANCE" in Canada through the Annual Poppy Campaign and to remind Canadians of the 117,000 men and women who gave their lives in wars and military missions around the world.

We are a proud continuous supporter of the 259 Penticton Panther Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron that has been serving our community for over 70 years.  The Penticton Legion also supports programs for seniors, community programs, housing and long term care initiatives, Cadets, Guides and youth, education and sports organizations.  In only the last five years, we have raised over $60,000 for various programs, groups and organizations.  With your support, we will continue to make a difference and help people in our community.  Join us today!
